The much loved Myisrael poker tournament returned to a record number of players. With over 90 players signed up, it was game on to win the top cash prize. After a night of calls for "chips" (not the edible kind), auction prizes and mystery knockout prizes, the winner, Lee Mamo, was victorious and walked away with the trophy. The top three players split the cash but played for a winner, and lady luck was on Lee's side. An incredible £17,000 was raised to go towards supporting vulnerable people in Israel.

Woodside Park shul Israel committee are delighted that once again English professional bridge player writer and teacher Andrew Robson OBE, bridge columnist for The Times, will be hosting a day of bridge in aid of Myisrael. Tickets include tea, coffee and a vegetarian lunch and three hours of tuition play (with a break for lunch). Myisrael's poker tournament is back for its Bar Mitzvah (13th) year! Join us for a Texas hold 'em knockout tournament where you can win the top cash prize of £1,000! A light vegetarian buffet supper will be served from 6.30pm and the poker game will begin at 7.15pm.
