Why choose Atufot?
Born out of the trauma of October 7th, Atufot is a sanctuary for women affected by war, displacement, and loss. Established at Kibbutz Erez—just miles from the Gaza border—this holistic women’s centre honours the courage of local women who defended their homes and now need support to rebuild their lives.
Atufot offers more than therapy. It’s a place of transformation, where women receive emotional care, acupuncture, reflexology, meditation, career guidance, and community connection—all under one roof. Since opening in late 2024, it has already supported 200 women from Erez and nearby towns, offering healing for the mind, body, and spirit.
With demand growing, Atufot aims to double its reach—expanding services and helping more women reclaim their strength and independence. Because when women heal, entire communities grow stronger.
Your support helps Atufot turn trauma into resilience.

ORNA’S STORY
On October 7th, Orna’s world shattered when her 27-year-old son, Amir, was killed defending their kibbutz. Amir’s bravery saved countless lives—but he left behind his wife, baby son, and grieving mother.
Forced to evacuate for over a year, Orna returned home in December 2024, only to be haunted by memories of gunfire, fear, and devastating loss. Grief and trauma overwhelmed her—until she found Atufot.
Atufot became a lifeline. Through regular acupuncture and reflexology, Orna found rare moments of peace and healing. “The treatments help me disconnect from reality,” she says. “Just for a little while, I can breathe. I can take care of myself. I can feel again.”
More than therapy, Atufot offered her a warm, supportive community of women walking similar paths. It is here, in this space of care and understanding, that Orna is slowly finding strength to keep going.
