Myisrael provides a meaningful way for donors to connect with small but inspirational causes in Israel that have previously fallen under the radar.

Our model of giving is simple, direct and ensures our supporters truly understand the impact of their donations.

Myisrael’s story begins soon after our Founder, Danni Franks, made Aliyah from London in 2005. She was introduced to Caryn Green, the founder of a small cause called Crossroads which helped English-speaking teenagers-at-risk. Danni was shocked to discover there were so many English-speaking kids living on Israel’s streets and troubled to hear of Crossroads’ serious fundraising challenges (which included not a single penny of support from the UK). Here was a small cause in Israel making a BIG impact but forever worrying whether they’d have the money to continue year on year.

So, Danni vowed to help Crossroads and other similar causes, and in March 2008, she launched Myisrael, connecting UK donors with remarkable, under-the-radar causes in Israel.

16 years on and Myisrael has raised almost £13 million for more than 65 grassroots causes. Myisrael’s donors now span the globe and demonstrate an unwavering commitment to their chosen causes, empowering them to transform the lives of Israel’s most vulnerable people.

“I’ve met so many people whose lives have been transformed by the generosity of Myisrael donors. I’ve met children who have a chance of breaking the cycle of poverty they grew up in thanks to educational programmes we’ve funded. I’ve met mothers who were able to escape abusive husbands because of the physical and emotional support we’ve been able to provide. And I’ve visited housebound elderly who have found a reason to get up in the morning since joining classes through a live TV link we’ve helped install.
